Seven Falls

10/29/2017

[53] Seven Falls is a series of seven cascading waterfalls of South Cheyenne Creek in South Cheyenne Cañon and has been a popular tourist attraction since it was opened in the early 1880s.  Seven Falls is the only waterfall in Colorado to make National Geographic's list of international waterfalls.  Parking for the falls is free and found one block east of The Broadmoor Hotel, where you will be shuttled to and from the falls.  They will be lighting the canyon for the holidays beginning November 19th.  Dining at the 1858 is a great option, even if for only drinks, an appetizer, or dessert.  Located at the base of the falls, it is a Gold Rush era themed restaurant providing Broadmoor quality cuisine and service in both a casual and rustic setting. COSmo and I recommend spending the extra $2 fee to ride the tram from the gate to and from the base of the falls, as it can be a rather strenuous walk for some.
