We now have four local business visits “under our belt” so far THIS WEEK in our Love Local Challenge. It was no surprise to me that by the time we arrived at 5:15pm the parking lot (in the back of the building) only had a couple of spots left, and there were about ten people waiting for tables to open up. Amber, Patrick, and the rest of the usual staff were busy taking the best of care to the packed rooms of regular customers. They’re never too busy to acknowledge you with a smile and warm hello as you walk in, and like so many others I’ve overheard at nearby tables, when asked if I needed to see a menu, a prompt “No” quickly escaped from my lips. Unbelievable, incredibly amazing plates of food made their way by us on the way to tables of happy guests fully engaged in conversation. This family owned restaurant is celebrating their 60th year and the family has every reason to be exceptionally proud. I can’t say enough of how good it feels to watch this successful business operate under the loving care of both third and fourth generation family members. The pizza and salad were amazing as usual.
