Perhaps it's because I'm still "reeling" about the loss of a few restaurants in town or maybe it's just because when I was a kid growing up on the North Coast we regularly ate fish on Fridays. Whatever the reason, I was certainly craving a good old fish fry tonight, and what a great "catch" it was! If you haven't been to Marigold Cafe on Centennial, just north of Garden Of The gods Road, you really should stop in and give them a try. Their fish and chips are "fin-tastic", and they have a lot of other delightful menu items as well. A basket of fresh bread and butter is hard enough to resist, let alone trying to choose a dessert from their two-page dessert menu! Did I mention they have an in-house bakery? I settled on the citrus cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. It's a good thing I was wearing my new "stretchy" belt tonight! Discover more...
