Day one of my Love Local Challenge where I visit at least one new locally owned small business per week. This is stop #2 today and wow, do you ever feel like a kid in a candy store here! I found some great stocking stuffers. Pop Rocks and huge rolls of Smarties, my sister’s favorite! It’s a bit cool today but a great day to get out and do a little exploring. If YOU haven’t already accepted the challenge, why not today? Just visit at least ONE locally owned business a week, take some pics, and then share your finds with your friends and family and encourage them to accept the challenge as well. Remember, just 100 people doing that for one year (52 weeks) and that’s 5,200 visits to our local shops and restaurants. Tell THEM what you’re up to so THEY can get in on the excitement too!
