In the heart of Old Colorado City is an old-school tavern featuring hearty comfort eats including Elk Chili and Buffalo Burgers. I found this to be a good place to go for lunch in a casual, laid back atmosphere. The beer battered Alaskan Cod was very filling and the side of cole slaw fresh and tasty.
After loosening my belt I managed to consume a T&B Sundae for dessert. The house made, black and tan brownie is topped with house-made vanilla ice cream, candied bacon, chocolate sauce and pecans. Don't forget that free parking is located off the back alley and is just a short walk from the entrance. ■
