One of Colorado’s newest family-owned restaurants offering up some great Berlin, Germany style street eats. I chose the Thüringer Rostbratwurst im Brötchen, a Pork Bratwurst combo served on a fresh German roll (without the lightly spiced mustard) with fries and a drink. Mine was good, but I did find myself envying some of the other patrons selections and looking forward to returning and trying some of them. The restaurant is located at 773 Garden Of The gods Road (at North Chestnut Street). Stop by and welcome Brian and Patricia to the neighborhood and let them know you found out about them here at DiscoverCOS.com.

Met Rueben for lunch today at Cowboy Star in University Village. This Restaurant and Butcher Shop is the first restaurant in Colorado Springs to serve up a unique Neighborhood Fine Dining experience by combining contemporary American cuisine with a western flare. I hear the steaks are awesome here, but since I was pressed for time I selected the Rueben and they were able to get me back on my way inside of thirty minutes as promised. The building is beautiful and care was given to take advantage of the fantastic view of Pikes Peak. Discover more...
Another fabulous lunch at Dat’s Italian. Dennis (the owner) was on hand meeting and greeting his customers and engaging in friendly conversation as usual. I had the half-portion Lasagna (always delicious!) so I’d be able to hold one of his fabulous Cannolis for dessert. If you haven’t experienced lunch or dinner here yet, Dat’s a shame!
