[16] This grilled ribeye steak was every bit as awesome as it looks! It was juicy, tender, and grilled to perfection. The baked potato was wonderful too, slathered with just the right amount of butter and sour cream, as were the fresh hot rolls with whipped cinnamon butter. I chose the “make your own salad” option which ensures you’re going to get a salad fixed just the way you like it. For dessert the carrot cake really hit the the spot! Cameron at the North Academy location was an awesome server and one any employer would be happy to have on their staff. The gang and I are already looking forward to our next visit.

What a great way to wind up the week with a visit to The Potato House, an East German Cafe right here in Colorado Springs! My server Jess didn’t have to twist my arm at all to try the Chicken Cordon Bleu (breaded chicken breast filled with ham and Swiss cheese). It was excellent, and included a side salad and crispy golden Kroketten (potatoes). Some great German music would be a nice touch and go great with the awesome, authentic cuisine. 2220 Academy Place Colorado Springs, CO 80909 719.434.1737 potatoespotatoespotatoes.com UPDATE: This restaurant has permanently closed. |
